As we publish our inaugural issue of OMCO Solar’s “Rolling Large” newsletter it allows us to reflect on how transformational a year 2019 has been.
This year we launched at full scale our initial OEM fixed tilt racking product, OMCO Field Fast ™ Slide And Stay Fixed Tilt Mounting System (projects in 15 states and counting), the launch of our direct bolt mounting rack, OMCO CHOICE™ Direct-Bolt Mounting System, and most significantly, the successful launch at SPI of our single axis OMCO Origin™ Factory-Direct Trackers to the market for 2020 deliveries.
This positions OMCO to support both any Utility Scale and smaller Community Solar projects in the US from one of our 4 factories in the US (OH, AZ, IN, AL).
Additionally, OMCO has added to our field service, foundation design, pile testing, and enhanced project management capabilities on the execution side along with our valued turnkey install partners to deliver for our customers.
So welcome to issue #1 and special thanks to all of our customers and partners who make this possible for continued growth in our dynamic and ever-changing industry.

SPI 2019 Re-Cap
The launch of our factory direct OMCO Origin™ Tracker at SPI proved to be a big success, garnering much attention for its unique bearing and capability to have row lengths up to 120 modules long.

OMCO Origin™ Tracker Powers OMCO’s Pierceton, IN Facility
OMCO Solar had its first tracker site go live in late October of this year.
The 217.35 kW site is located at our Pierceton, Indiana facility and helps power the very line which produced the torque tubes used for this project!
The site has a unique aspect to it as it houses two of our product lines Origin and Choice.

Direct-Bolt Mounting System
OMCO Solar successfully installs an 11.03MW project in Red Bluff, California for their customer Coldwell Solar. OMCO Solar’s Choice racking system was used for this project and it will help power a large lumber processing facility. This project was built in a quick time-frame and was complete without a single pile refusal.
OMCO FIELD-FAST™ Slide and Stay Mounting System
OMCO Solar manufactured the Field-Fast racking system for this 6.655MW Strata Solar project. The project schedule benefitted from the time-saving module installation feature of the Field-Fast racking system which allowed Strata to complete the project on time.
Seagrove, North Carolina the pottery capital of the United States now has a solar array that can help power their kilns throughout the year.
